Parabens, commonly known as Methylparaben and Buthylparaben, among other names, are synthetic preservatives used in the industry. These ingredients have been banned in the European Union and many other countries because of their high risk of cancer and other diseases. GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) are organisms that have their DNA altered to produce higher yields in production to achieve better economic results. This genetic alteration may have a negative impact on humans. We at Relevance®, Happy Beauty® and all of our formulations have adopted a policy of using only Non-GMO and Paraben-free ingredients, also we are not testing on animals.
